The bowl is decorated on the exterior with the Eight Daoist Immortals shown with their attributes standing amidst vapor atop a wave border. The centre of the interior is decorated with the longevity god with a deer under a tall pine tree, base with six character mark. Qing Dynasty period.

此盒以精銅為材，底刻'大明正德年制'六字款，銅質精煉，入手生墜，光澤處觀之若金。圓形，子口，弧收腹，外撇淺圈足。外壁飾寬弦紋兩道，線條剛勁。蓋母口，蓋面圓拱，面以珍珠紋為地，上飾阿拉伯文，為明正德年間極為典型的裝飾紋樣，造型紋飾古雅飽滿，加之作工考究，雕工精美，皮殻溫潤熟透，是當時文人雅士鍾愛之物，傳承至今，包漿渾厚，品相完美，十分難得。可參考一相同銅香盒，售於香港佳士得，2014年11月, 拍品號2912，成交價HKD 1,120,000
