The Guanyin is sitting with the right arm rested on the raised right leg. The face is carved with downcast eyes and smile lips, framed by the elongated earlobes suspending flower earrings. The Guanyin is dressed in loose robes elaborately decorated with gold flowers and beads jewelry, the hair is tied in a top knot, and wearing a tiara set at the front with a figure of buddha. It all supported on a lotus carrying by eight immortals with different poses and faces. 17th century.

此尊觀音坐像體積宏大，分上下兩個部分。上部為觀音悠坐於蓮花座上，面部眼、耳、鼻及手、足雕工自然，神態慈愛安詳，身體線條優美柔和，頭飾為精緻的佛雕，穿著服飾有華美飄逸之感，頭飾與服飾上均有貼金裝飾痕跡。下部為八隻小鬼將蓮花座托起，八隻小鬼的雕刻採用逼真的浮雕工藝，每隻形態各不相同，活靈活現，精彩異常。整座觀音雕像包漿自然，保存完好。此類彩繪觀音坐像在歷次的拍賣會上極為少見，可謂個人及博物館首選藏寶。
