Carved seated in dhyanasana with hands in dhyana mudra supporting a small alms bowl, the contemplative face with downcast eyes and gentle smile, wearing a loose-fitting robe falling in elegant folds, the separate gilt bronze lotus pedestal base and back flaming mandorla inlaid with various colorful semi-precious gems including jade, agate, lapis lazuli, and turquoise. Qing Dynasty period.

整料青金石為材，立體圓雕藥師佛坐像。螺鬃發，坦胸，法相慈悲，雙手托藥缽於腹前。佛安坐於寬大蓮座上。青金石材燦若藍寶石，雕工圓潤，品相完好，實屬難得。
