With rounded shoulders tapering towards the foot, the body decorated in brown with an alternating repeated design of scrolls confined within ruyi-shaped outlines, the narrow neck painted with a key-fret band, rising to a rounded lip. The meiping is covered with a dark brownish glaze that continues inside that neck. Southern Song Dynasty period.

此件器物瓶唇口，短頸，豐肩，腹下漸斂，內凹足。外壁黑地褐釉，滿飾相連如意雲紋。表現了吉州窯首創的褐釉裝飾手法，為入窯前在釉面繪淺色圖案，經燒製後稍有流釉，圖案因此呈現模糊的輪廓。這種裝飾效仿當時的剔漆工藝，產生悅目的釉面裝飾。此類紋飾意仿自然，切合南宋文人意趣。
