來源: 青山杉雨舊藏 出版：《吳昌碩書畫展—吳缶翁生誕一五〇年紀念》，日本槙社文會，1994年，第36頁。青山杉雨（1912年6月6日-1993年2月13日），日本著名書法家，名文雄，字杉雨，以字行。號寄鶴山民、三車亭主、杉雨逸人等等，別署轟、寄鶴刊、囂齋等。出身於日本愛知縣，後隨父遷居東京。初受族親名古屋書家大池晴嵐影響，並受書法林錦洞指教，初露鋒芒。後入西川寧先生門，三十歲的青山杉雨，從此徹底改變了對書法的觀念。 （西川寧先生是明治時代大書家西川春洞之子，是日本著名書法家、漢學家、書法理論家，為戰後日本書法界的最高指導者之一。）作品獲得日展文部大臣獎（ 1963年）、日本藝術院獎（1965年）、勛三等旭日中綬章（1985年）、文化功勞者（稱號）（1988年），1992年獲得日本最高榮譽--文化勛章。先後擔任過大東文化大學、中京大學教授，謙慎書道會理事長、顧問，日展理事、常任理事、顧問（擔任評委19次，為歷來最多），日本藝術院會員，全日本書道連盟特別顧問，創設了日本最大的書法團體"讀賣書法會"並任總務, 多次訪問中國進行書法交流，並將中國古代藏品交流展出，在中日文化交流中做出了卓越貢獻
