The vase is decorated with ferocious five-clawed dragons leaping from the turbulent ocean waves below, the waves and the manes are skillfully executed in shades of cobalt blue, all reserved on the light celadon glazed exterior ground moulded with low relief auspicious clouds, the base with a six character Kangxi mark within double line. Qing Dynasty Kangxi period.

此件釉裡紅瓶身作雙龍和鯉魚，並由青花描繪海水紋。瓶身所繪雙龍戲珠，為四爪蒼龍，雙目圓瞪炯炯有神，張口作咆哮狀態，鬢髮迎風飄揚，騰躍於九天之上。又繪一跳躍鯉魚，鯉魚形像生動。此幅場景是“魚化龍”，為傳統寓意吉祥的題材。器物底部“大清康熙年制”六字楷書款識，是一件獨特的官窯器物。
