The thick, arched shaft is carved with scenes of a seated elderly figure accompanied by a young attendant appreciating the mountain scenery above. The ruyi head is carved with a literati figure, possibly the poet Li Bai, holding a wine cup on one hand under the moonlight, framed by pine trees and rocky outcrops. The stone is of a semi-translucent white tone. Qing Dynasty period.
