The large bodhisattva is shown seated in vajrasana with his right hand in bhumisparshamudra and the left resting on his lap. He is shown dressed in a monastic garment with its borders incised with floral pattern. His gilt decorated face displays a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows. His forehead is raised with an urna and the curled hair is rising into the ushnisha and topped with a lotus bud. 13th/14th century. Tibet.

這是一尊西藏13/14世紀合金銅釋迦牟尼坐像。釋迦牟尼佛（梵文：ākyamuni，意為「釋迦族之聖者」），姓喬達摩、名悉達多（約公元前566年-公元前486年）。此尊釋迦牟尼結跏趺坐於仰覆蓮座上，左手施禪定印，右手施觸地印，象征作為佛教創始人的釋迦牟尼在菩提伽耶修行悟道的重要時刻。五官刻畫立體，面相圓潤。眉如新月，眼睛為雙眼皮，刻有下眼瞼，呈半閉狀，眼簾低垂，向下凝視，帶有沈思冥想的神情。鼻梁高挺。小口薄唇，面容安靜祥和。耳垂較長，其底部低於下巴，有矩形的耳洞。頂上肉髻飽滿突出，排列整齊。肉髻上有如意寶珠。肉髻和白毫均屬佛三十二相。頸紋三道。體型勻稱健碩，胸大肌突出，腰較細，給人以挺拔莊嚴之感。袈裟薄衣貼體，線條優美，左袖覆蓋至手腕，袒右肩與右乳。蓮座的蓮瓣飽滿且富有張力。整體刻畫細膩，造型優雅寧靜，為後期印度帕拉王朝的藝術風格。來源：東岸資深佛像藏家提供
