The attractive white jade stone with russet veins smoothly polished and worked in the form of a recumbent deer with legs tucked tightly underneath the body, its head turned sharply backwards looking towards its tail, the mane detailed with delicately incised lines, the back surmounted with a circular stopper. Mid Qing Dynasty period.
