Finely potted with rounded sides to a high shoulder and short tapered rim, elegantly moulded around the exterior with three bands depicting sinuous dragons travelling through the clouds, below a large band of foliate scrolls and above a band of overlapping lotus lappets, the domed cover incised with stylized floral scrolls and surmounted with a lotus bud finial. Yuan Dynasty period.

“樞府釉”是一種卵白釉，由青白瓷發展而來。元代沿襲宋代舊制，設樞密院作為最高軍事機關，它和管理文官的中書省並稱“二府”。樞府瓷是元代景德鎮的著名產品。其釉色白微泛青，恰似鴨蛋色澤，故又稱“卵白釉”。樞府釉瓷器一部分是宮廷訂燒器，一部分為外銷瓷和民用瓷。本品胎骨堅細厚重，造型碩大敦實，通體盡施樞府釉，外壁及蓋運用剔刻技法裝飾纏枝蓮紋，紋樣清晰，質感強烈，外壁釉下模印飾纏枝蓮紋及雲龍紋，蓋刻蓮花紋，線條俐落，流暢如畫。全器工藝精湛，文化藝術內涵豐富，製作工藝精湛，是非常難得的元代遺珍。來源：紐約藏家提供, 其家族1970年前購於Sydney L Moss Ltd
