With shallow rounded sides supported on short foot and rising to flare rim, the interior finely enamelled with pomegranates and peaches borne on leafy branches in vivid yellow, turquoise, green, and brown, the center delicately incised with ferocious dragon amidst cloud scrolls chasing flaming pearl, the interior further painted with branches of peony and camellia, the base with six character Kangxi reign mark. Qing Dynasty Kangxi period.

盤撇口，淺壁，圈足內斂。盤先於胎體之上雕刻紋樣，其中脛部裝飾蓮瓣一週，內外壁分別雕琢兩條行龍穿於祥雲之間，盤心則鐫刻一立龍凌空而起，其神態兇猛，威風凜凜。盤釉上以綠、黃、紫、墨等彩料繪製折枝花果，其中內壁描繪石榴、香櫞、壽桃四組共十隻瑞果，外壁裝飾折枝花卉兩組，其果實豐碩飽滿，枝葉盤繞纏連。秞上花果與釉下雲龍交相呼應，既顯得富貴吉祥，亦不失威嚴之氣。此盤形制規整，刻划龍紋精細，彩繪花果生動，色彩對比強烈，可謂康熙御窯器之精品，值得收藏。石榴象徵多子，壽桃寓意多壽，香櫞諧音“元”，三者共同組成“連中三元”之意。中國古代科舉考試中，稱鄉試、會試、殿試的第一名為解元、會元、狀元. 來源：紐約重要私人藏家提供
