Supported on three short mythical beast mask legs, the body flanked by a pair of mythical beast mask handles to the sides, and a loop handle to the front and back, the body cast with three bands of repeated interlocking pattern, the pattern is repeated in three bands on the cover, which are interrupted by four looped finials all below the round finial decorated with stylized openwork dragon pattern. 此類鼎為古代祭祀和宴會時放盛黍、稷、稻、梁等作物的禮器，出現在春秋時期。鼎蓋頂中央置圈形捉手，四周均飾四個環形鈕， 蓋口沿三等分處各飾一獸首銜扣。方唇、束頸、鼓腹，雙鏤空獸形耳，圈底，下置三短獸蹄足。蓋、腹飾蟠螭紋、三角紋、綯索紋，紋飾精美，神韻生動，為春秋時期的典型器。類似紋飾和形制的青銅禮器，可參考中國河南省博物館藏春秋時期蟠螭紋青銅鼎。
