The bodhisattva is seated in padmasana with the primary hands in mudra and the others outstretched. He is dressed in flowing robes and adorned with jewelry and sashes. The face is downcast with heavy-lidded eyes and the hair is pulled up into a topknot, all supported on a square section double lotus plinth. Ming Dynasty period.

“千手觀音”，又稱千手千眼觀世音、千眼千臂觀世音等。千手觀音是阿彌陀佛的左協助，與阿彌陀佛、阿彌陀佛的右脅侍大勢至菩薩合稱為“西方三聖”。此木胎觀音天衣橫披，面容慈祥肅穆，肩側伸展多支手臂，工藝複雜，品相完好，保存至今十分難得。
