Carved in the form of a folded book, the slightly curved rectangular white jade panel is divided into two parts, one carved in shallow relief with vase containing orchids next to a tall wood trunk stand supporting a plum blossom planter, below three carved seal marks; the other part carved with lotus in shallow relief below running script calligraphy, the reverse further carved with inscription and two seal marks, all supported on elaborately carved and reticulated tierd wood stand. Qing Dynasty period.
