Beautifully cast, the Tara is seated in lalitasana on a double lotus throne, her hands are in ravimudra, wearing necklace and an elaborate bejewelled headdress. Her hair painted blue and hold in a high chignon, the cold-gilt face is cast with downcast eyes and a serene expression, the back of the base bottom incised with inscriptions.
