Carved from a spinach green jade boulder, raised on double lotus rectangular section platform, supporting a large beehive-shaped niche, housing the small white jade figure of Buddha adorned with gilt decoration. The dom topped by two tear-shaped finial. The back of the pagoda shrine finely incised and picked out in gilt with Imperial poem and one seal mark. Qing Dynasty period.

以玉為料所做之佛龕十分罕有。此佛龕以碧玉大料整挖，上部由佛塔為造型，下承蓮瓣紋如意足須彌座，內供奉一尊白玉嵌金佛陀，面目祥和，如入禪境。佛龕背部刻描金御題詩一首。整件佛龕刻工精細，用料大方，十分難得。類似玉佛龕可參考一尊較小灰白玉佛龕，售於香港蘇富比，2005年10月23日，拍品號414，以及一尊白玉佛塔式佛龕，拍賣於香港蘇富比，2005年5月2日，拍品號531。
