Of upright irregular boulder form, the white jade superbly worked in high relief to depict an immortal figure holding a staff on right hand, standing above the clouds issuing from the grey jade rock, the top white jade carved as gnarled pine branches; the reverse delicately inscribed with Imperial poem to the top with two seal marks, all supported on well-carved openwork wood stand. Mid-Qing Dynasty period.

此件山子為整塊黑白玉料一體雕成，匠人巧妙將黑料鏤雕成嶙峋山子，羅漢，雲煙，松樹以白玉料雕就，羅漢手持一木杖，立於祥雲之上，衣褶垂褟刻畫栩栩如生。山子背面，以楷書刻達摩祖師名言: “ 亦不睹惡而生嫌， 亦不觀善而勤措。亦不舍智而近愚， 亦不拋迷而求悟”。刀法流利，自然，宛若天成，此件巧雕除刀法巧妙之外，用刀精細，十分難得。
