The ruyi head carved in the form of peach and carved in shallow relief with bat over a large peach, the front and back of shaft incised with numerous shou characters in various styles. Qing Dynasty period.

如意，又稱“握君”、“執友”或“談柄”，由古代的笏和搔杖演變而來。其材質多樣，大多取金、銀、竹、木、玉石、牙角為之。器身呈彎曲回頭之狀，有“回頭即如意”的吉祥寓意。明、清時期，它從實用器物逐漸演化為陳設珍玩，故有“椒戚都趨珠寶市，一時如意價連城”的詩句。此如意以鎏金銅所制，柄身滿飾百壽紋，如意柄首鑲飾碩厚白玉片，淺雕壽桃蝙蝠紋，寓意吉祥，典雅端莊，實為文房陳設上乘之器。
