Comprising of five rounded black ink cakes, each inscribed in gilt on top with seal script inscriptions with a single character indicating the ordinal number, the reverse carved with inscriptions, accompanied with a later box. Qing Dynasty period.

石鼓墨始現於清代，是受金石考據學盛行的學風影響而作，清乾隆朝便有數套石鼓禦墨流傳。墨仿唐朝初年天興（今陜西寶雞）三畤原出土的石鼓形制成，故名。共五錠，按天幹編序號排列，鼓兩面分別摹刻大篆鼓文和楷書釋文。墨五錠共裝盛於黑漆匣內，匣蓋填金題 <<藝苑珍品>>。
