Each silver hexagonal jardiniere carved around the body with bunches of flowers issuing from tree brush in relief above bands of archaistic scrolled flowers and ruyi pattern, one is moulded into a bunch of gilt or gold longevity peach tree form decorated each peach with medallion and the flower bud in rounded gem, the other is moulded into the form of cycas trunks in gilt-bronze decorated with carved bats flying above the long exuberant leaves. 此對宮廷盆景以金桃樹及金鐵樹為造型, 六方銀盆以揲錘工藝繪製出各類花卉吉祥圖案, 。盆外壁每面有勾雲紋抹角開光,開光內魚子地上捶揲出神仙傳說圖案,皆與“延年益壽”之意相關,分別為 “王母仙駕”、“老君煉丹”、“仙女采桃”、“老子乘牛”、“童子獻壽”、“東方朔偷桃”。口沿上以魚子紋為地,飾纏枝桃花及獨窠蓮花。盆中植金鐵和金桃樹,樹幹捶揲成“S”形,弧曲有致。盆中金樹嵌珍珠為花蕊, 工藝極為精緻, 獨具匠心, 兩件盆景皆金銀輝映,富麗堂皇,反應出清代宮廷獨特的審美趣味。可參閱故宮博物院類似藏品。 來源:達拉斯私人藏家藏 Provenance: Private collection, Dallas, Texas
