Of flattened hu vessel form, the neck carved in shallow relief with confronted mythical beast pair reserved on key-fret ground, flanked by two elephant heads, the body well polished, reverse carved in relief with a standing foursquare elephant, with a four character mark to one end, all completed with a well carved 'dragon' roundel agarwood cover and stand. Qing Dynasty period.

此硯成瓶形，奓口束頸，頸部飾有回形紋及龍鳳紋, 溜肩弧腹。束頸處有兩耳，做像首樣。接於瓶肩之上。正面隠見浮雕大象紋樣。寓意太平有像，甚是吉祥。此硯線條豐腴，質地通透，若人喜愛。配淺浮雕龍紋沉香蓋。
