The luohan bed is elegantly constructed with three large huanghuali wood planks forming the side and back rails, the soft mat seat enclosed by wide rectangular frame, all supported on four thick and slightly splayed legs, joined above by humpback stretchers and vertical struts, the wood is of attractive and characteristic grain and pattern. Late Ming/Early Qing Dynasty period.
