Crisply and thinly carved from translucent light yellow stone with two rows of slender petals radiating from the central roundel with cross- hatched pattern. The underside also worked with petals with one row forming a thin foot. On the opposite sides of the dish rim, a pair of three-head chrysanthemum handles was carved, each completed with stylistic leaves. Late Qing Dynasty period.

Provenance: The Shum Family collection, Hong Kong/Los Angeles 此和阗黃玉菊瓣花耳盤為圓形直口, 盤壁由凸雕邊陵的葡瓣紋組成,盤中為凸雕菊瓣紋, 而盤心部位雕刻成細密網絡紋. 雙耳為透雕寫實的菊花式. 此盤採用優質的新疆和阗玉料, 雕功精良, 為難得的一件玉器。
