Finely enameled on the interior with a scene of two white cranes standing in a lotus pond below large lotus blossoms, surrounded by sprays of large green lotus leaves and thin red sprigs, with a crane flying in the sky in black glaze, all reserved on pale white ground, the plate rim in gilt and the exterior and base covered overall with multicolor scrolled foliate pattern surrounded flowers of blossoming chrysanthemum and peony.
