The domed white jade hat rest carved in relief with a pair of dragons in pursuit of a white jade Yin-Yang pearl to the center, its scales, claws, and head highly detailed, all against the ground of swirling auspicious clouds. The rest supported on an slender hardwood stand and raised on an circular base, terminating in four rectangular section feet. Qing Dynasty Period.
