Of quaterlobed form, the censer is supported on four ruyi stub feet, the exterior finely incised with stylized taotie mask below a band of key-fret pattern, the side flanked by arched handle, overall in rich gilt, the base bears a six character 'XUANDE' mark. Qing Dynasty period.
