The Guanyin is shown standing upon a large lotus above foam of waves, wearing long and loose robe decorated with leaf and flower motif, holding a sprig on her left hand, her face is modelled with a serene expression and downcast eyes, hair pulled up into a tall coiffure beneath a cowl; her attendant standing beside her with hands clasped together, behind a rockwork with four character inscription 'Ci Hang Pu Du'. The back of the carving finely incised with inscription of White Robed Guanyin Mantra, dated to second year and fifth month of Yongzheng reign. Qing Dynasty period.
