The boulder is carved as the mythological horse tamer, Bo Le, bathing his horse, with the other horse standing adjacent to him with head turning back gazing another horse, all set in a craggy rocky mountain setting, the reverse with two horses standing in a stream. The stone is of translucent and softly polished even white tone with some minor russet inclusions. Qing Dynasty period.

此山子擺件以整塊白玉雕刻而成，質地細膩溫潤。作品依山勢而構，採用浮雕、線刻等工藝隨形而琢，以浴馬圖為表現主題，山石聳立，襯景典雅，意蘊生動，整個畫面極是清雅。禦馬圖是清代宮廷玉雕常見題材，此器雕工精湛，具有典型宮廷風格，寓畫於玉，美輪美奐。
