The white jade vessel had a broad-shaped body standing on a splayed foot ring, carved with loose over-head arched handle terminating in bovine masks; the domed cover surmounted by a bud finial. The main body decorated in shallow relief with taotie masks evenly spaced out by four flanges. The shoulder, neck, and foot are all similarly decorated with bands of confronting kui dragons.
