Of flattened rectangular section and elongate form, the front and back side finely decoratd with an European lady dressed in chinese-style dress and carrying a basket of fish over arm, the side enamelled with buildings and trees, the neck painted with dense scrolled motifs reserved against yellow ground, with a band of petal-lappets around the mouth rim. The base with blue enamelled four character QIANLONG mark. Possibly from Imperial palace workshop. Qing Dynasty Qianlong period.
