Raised on ovoid foot ring, the flattened and rounded body finely carved in relief throught the layers of lacquer with dense flowering branches and two birds in flight to the front and reverse, and continuing up onto the neck which is flanked by a pair of lacquered handles. The base bears six character 'QIANLONG' mark in gilt. Qing Dynasty period.
