The white jade boulder is finely carved as a mountainous and rocky landscape, depicting nine elders of Xiangshan engaging in various scholarly leisure, including two elders playing Go under a tall pine tree, five elders appreacing a painting, and two elders in a conversation. The reverse carved with an elderly gentleman and his attendant on a narrow path under pine tree issuing from rocky outcrop, the stone is of white tone with russet skin. Qing Dynasty period.
