Possibly zitan, the table is set with a plain square panelled top and narrow waist, above openwork aprons carved with a bat tied by key-fret band to the sides and continued along the feet and base as spandrels, the legs all joined by a base stretcher. Each chair is of similar design as the square table. Late Qing Dynasty period.
