Of compressed globular form, the censer is raised on three short supports, the body delicately carved in low relief with a stylized shou character in a round medallion amidst scrolling foliate pattern on both sides, with a band of lingzhi around the rim, flanked by two upswept handles. The domed cover further decorated with similar pattern and surmounted with a circular finial. The stone is of semi-translucent even white tone. The zitan hardwood stand is of waisted form with reticulated decoration. Qing Dynasty period.
