Mounted with a gilt-bronze stand, the vase elegantly potted with slender neck rising from pear-shaped body, finely painted with four alternating panels depicting the scene of flowers and scholar's objects, and the scene of mythical beast qilin standing amidst cliff and scudding waves below sun and clouds. The neck encircled with a band of flower lappets. The mouth rim further mounted in gilt-bronze. The base bears six character 'KANGXI' mark. Qing Dynasty Kangxi period.
