The circular box is overall covered with fine cafe-au-lait glaze, the cover finely decorated in gilt over the glaze with a stylized flower motif surrounded dots and ruyi symbols, all enclosed by geometric frieze and the outermost further painted with a band of dots. The body similarly painted with a band of ruyi heads spaced by circles below floral-formed dots. The base inscribed in gilt with a six character 'QIANLONG' mark. Qing Dynasty period.
