The panel is finely inlaid in white jade, yellow jade, spinach jade, black jade, and agate with precious and scholarly objects, including a yellow jade elephant, back draped with white jade and agate blanket, supporting a spinach jade vase containing flower and leaves; an archaistic white jade vessel ding and a spinach jade ruyi with yellow jade tassel; a white jade 'buddhist hand' on a black jade stand, etc. The upper right hand further embellished in white jade with an imperial poem. The reverse gilt-painted with scene of mountains and islands landscape, all reserved on black lacquer ground and set into a hongmu base carved on the aprons and spandrels with intricate stylized floral scrolls. Qing Dynasty Qianlong period.

此原裝紫檀插屏尺寸巨大，十分沉重，木質精良，屏座背景浮雕纏枝西番紋，工藝繁榮，有多子多福的寓意。插屏主體以黑漆為地，上嵌百寶，一面雕飾博古紋圖，上以白玉、碧玉、青金石、瑪瑙，紅寶，黃玉，墨玉等表現各類珍奇異寶，並以白玉嵌御製詩一首。屏另一面以描金繪山水圖一副，畫工精緻。本屏通高超過兩米，用料考究，工藝細致，實為清代室內陳設之重器。
