The jardiniere is finely enamelled with roundel panels enclosing a peach with a stylized 'Shou' character in the center, flanked by flying butterflies reserved on yellow ground, with a continuous band of auspicious peach, bat, and 'shou' character below and above. The bottom is unglazed. Qing Dynasty period.
