Of rectangular shape, the jade is finely carved to the front with a mountainous landscape. An elderly figure standing upon a rocky cliff holding a staff with both hands talking to a young attendant underneath on an arched bridge over flowing stream. To his front with an ascending path, with pine, plum, and wutong issuing from rocky outcrops. Above them is a pavillion upon a hanging cliff below the cloud line. The reverse incised in gilt with imperial poem and seal marks. Set into a zitan stand, it is carved and pierced with archaistic scrolls on the apron.
