The neck is of trumpet form and finely cast with four blades rising from a band of leiwen, the middle section and spread foot cast with taotie masks decorated with leiwen and separated by notched flanges, with a kui dragons motif on the foot, all reserved on leiwen grounds. The bronze is of mottled grey and malachite patina, and entensive encrustation on the interior.
