Cast seated on a double lotus throne, the bodhisattva is shown seated in dhyanasana, his hands raisd in dharmachakra mudra, dressed in robe with hems incised with a foliate pattern, the face with elongated eyes and flanked by pendulous earlobes, the hair in tight curls over the ushnisha and topped with knop, the lip and hair painted with colored pigments. The throne is cast with seven character 'Qianlong' mark. Qing Dynasty period.
