Of slightly compressed globular form, the body is of purple glazed and polished, the spout, cover, finial, and base are protected by gilt bronze, the cover with a 'Hua Feng Xiang' mark, the base with a six character 'Jin Xi Hua Feng Xiang Zhi' mark.

直嘴，鼓腹，紫泥為胎，砂質淘洗細膩，壺色渾厚深沉，底钤“荊溪華鳳翔制”， 蓋款 "華鳳祥“。華風翔，清初康熙時人，善做古壺。
