Of ruyi shape, the cover painted with buddhist emblems suspending with an auspicious bat amid scrolling foliage motif in ruyi shape, the border decorated with key-fret band, the sides decorated with panels of foliage motif, all reserved in ochre tone ground. The sides of the box painted with auspicious cloud motif. The interior and base is lacquered black. The base bears a six character 'Qianlong' mark in gilt. Qing Dynasty period.
