The ink stone is carved in the form of a zun vessel with a base of key-fret pattern and two delicate elephant-formed handles on the sides, the well below a finely carved stylized auspicious character amidst a leiwen ground and detailed Lingzhi tree issuing from the vessel. The stone is of white tone with russet markings and veining.
