此戰旗為綠色飛魚紋三角形五色戰旗，應是明朝兵部尚書出戰外地路途高舉及鎮守要地城池懸掛之物。據《明史》載：明代飛魚從摩羯紋演變而來，上半身與龍蟒相同，區別於腹部有一對飛翼，腰部以下為魚尾。此戰旗飛魚腹部一對白色的飛翼，尾端魚尾向兩側張開，雲紋環繞飛魚四周，表達從天而降，威力無比。以彰顯明朝政府之強大。戰旗由於使用環境，保存下來的甚少，查閱歷史拍賣紀錄也少見戰旗，屬具有歷史與藝術價值的收藏品。
