The set includes a pair of rectangular black lacquer white jade inlaid panels, and a black lacquer hanging panel embellished with hard-stone. The panel pairs are inlaid with poetic couplet written in semi-cursive format with white jade against the black lacquer ground; the hanging panel is inlaid with various hard-stones including white jade, celadon jade, spinach jade, agate, etc, decorating birds and crane in flight, above blossoming plum tree and chrysanthemum issuing from rock-work, and imperial poem on the top left hand side.
