Of barrel form, each garden stool is elaborately decorated with a large stylized Shou character encircled by five bats amidst motifs of peaches and smaller auspicious Shou characters against yellow ground, all between raised nodes, the pierced top decorated with similar Shou roundels interspersed with bats and peaches motifs.
