Of circular form, the panel is carved in medium relief with three elders conversing and walking along a narrow path on cliff towards a pavilion, all within a mountain landscape. The reverse is incised in gilt with imperial poem. The wood stand underneath is carved in relief with ocean waves detailed with incised lines to highlight the turbulence. Qing Dynasty period.
