The exterior of the water pot is carved in shallow relief with a mythical dragon, detailed with finely incised scales and the flame-like tail, all reserved on a delicately carved dense network of scrolling clouds. The body is of mostly white tone, with varying tone of russet and areas of darker inclusions along the rim and base. 17th Century.
