The vase is of angled baluster form, the body incised with river, mountain, and village scenery, the reverse incised with Chinese poetry and colophon written by Tan Qunhai, the sides attached with mythical lion handle and looped rings, and the bottom with four character mark "Gu Shaopei".

此瓶胎質堅緻，線條優美，環鈕流暢，動靜皆宜，峽江圖加上譚泉海鐫刻詩文，氣勢磅礴動人。參考錦鋒公司1985年出版之壺錦第105頁，即為此瓶。
